This is a one of a kind hand puppet, made by me (Kathryn). The head is hollow, and has been constructed with a base of paper mache, and then air-dry clay was used to sculpt the details. The eyes are black glass. The head has been painted with acrylic paint and sealed with a matte varnish. The body of the puppet is a cotton print, lined with muslin. The patches on the front are silk with metal and mirror embellishments, and the band at the neck is velvet. The body of the puppet measures 13 1/2 inches from the top of the velvet band to the hem. The head is about 3 1/2 inches high, 3 1/2 inches front to back, and a little over 3 inches wide.
